I first met Susan Mulcahy in the early 1980s, when she was the editor of Page Six, the New York Post’s famous and most avidly read gossip column. We’ve been friends ever since.
A couple of years ago, she told me she was working with Frank DiGiacomo on an oral history of The New York Post. I said: “when it’s published, we’ll do a podcast.”
It was published last October. We taped this podcast last week.
If you’re looking for a book that captures New York’s most notorious newspaper and makes you laugh out loud, ‘Paper of Wreckage” is what you’re looking for. You can buy it by clicking here.
