During the time between when it became apparent to the electorate that Biden could not “serve effectively” as president in a second term (February 2023) and the time the Democratic Party leadership tossed Biden overboard (July 2024), there were questions about the Biden campaign operation.

But the real answer, we were told, was this: They were building out a massive “ground game” or “field operation”, that would touch every last Democratic and lean-Democratic voter in each of the “battleground” states, of which there were seven.
There was more than enough money to do that. To date, the hybrid Biden-Harris-Walz campaign has raised over $1 billion. Find them, persuade them to register, keep track of them, and then make sure they vote — absentee, by mail, at a drop box or in-person. $50 million per state should produce an impressive number of new voters who look a lot like the people who are registered and vote (or lean) Democratic.
But..ah..apparently not.
